Common questions
When will I be charged?
Not at checkout. Stripe saves your card, and the first charge happens when your server is ready and its login details are sent to you. We email you before that first charge. If you change your mind before then, nothing is charged at all.
Is the server dedicated or shared?
Dedicated. It's a physical server with no virtualisation layer, and you're the only customer on it. You get every core, all the memory and both drives.
How does daily billing work?
You pick a billing period at checkout: a day, a week or a month. The rental renews at the end of each period until you cancel. Longer periods cost less per day.
Dedicated server or virtual machine?
A dedicated server is a whole physical machine: nobody else uses its cores, memory or disks. A virtual machine runs on our servers alongside others and you choose exactly how many vCPUs, how much memory and how much storage it gets. Pick a VM when you need less than a whole server, or a size the dedicated range doesn't have.
Should I pick AMD or Intel?
AMD Ryzen gives the best price per core, and the 7950X3D is the fastest for games and builds. EPYC and Xeon Gold have the most cores and memory, for databases and virtualisation. Intel Core is a good all-rounder at the entry price.
Which Linux distributions can I choose?
Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, Debian 12, Rocky Linux 9 and AlmaLinux 9. You can reinstall any of them later, or install your own system from the rescue environment.
Can I rent a dedicated server by the day?
Yes. Every dedicated server and VPS can be billed daily, weekly, monthly, every 3 months or every 6 months. A Ryzen 5 3600 with 64 GB of memory costs $10 a day or $65 a month, with no setup fee, and the rental renews until you cancel.
Where are your servers located?
In two datacenters: Cyprus, inside the European Union, close to Europe, the Middle East and North Africa; and Texas, in the middle of the United States. You choose the location for each server when you order.
What is the cheapest dedicated server?
The AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and the Intel Core i5-13500, both with 64 GB of memory and two NVMe drives, from $65 a month or $10 a day. For less than a whole server, a VPS starts at a few dollars a month.
How do I cancel?
Reply to any of our emails. The server runs until the end of the period you've paid for and isn't renewed. There's no notice period and no fee.
